Potential of Computer-Aided Engineering in the Design of Ground-Improvement Technologies

The progress status of jet-grouting construction during the phase is difficult to verify and even after completion construction, it can be verified only by empirical methods. This study attempted recreate a realistic simulation result middle-pressure method establishing computer-aided engineering (CAE) system from planning/design stage ground model verifying validity process was analyzed moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method. governing parameters for were determined MPS unconfined compression test. results validated visual confirmation related phenomena, such as soil-improved body formation mud discharge. To accuracy discharge phenomenon, three different probe regions set above amount generated in each region computed before drawing an overall conclusion study. A soil-improvement approximately 0.38 m3 observed have formed at end highest number measured, instance, 896. expected serve guideline further studies on simulation-based research.
